Anthony Byrd is a recent recipient of a Plant a Seed scholarship. He and his family submitted a scholarship request this past August for Anthony to play basketball and he started practicing soon after.

Crystina Tierney has always wanted to take gymnastics but wasn’t sure if her dad could afford the lessons. Tierney, a 15 year old Levittown resident has been attending the Joel Baba’s School of Gymnastics on a PAS scholarship for the past two years and says “it honestly keeps me healthy mentally and physically.”

10-year old Camille Pointer has been taking piano lessons for the past three months at the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. Camille shared with PAS that it has always been her dream to learn to play the piano given to her family by her grandmother, but the cost of piano lessons was prohibitive for her parents.
